È UN CASINO
Material 03 — Fashion The first collection

The self,
drawn as one
even line.

Every piece is drawn first as a flat — one even line through the body, the object and the carry — and made only where the drawing already reads. Eight pieces, undyed, in ink, with one blue thread that escapes.

Pieces 08 Palette Undyed · Ink · One blue thread Mark (È) Drawn As flats euncasino.com

The collection is named the way a book is annotated: each piece is a mark in the margin of the body. Where the line stays even, the garment is honest — and the one place it breaks the edge is on purpose.

The pieces

Eight flats.
One even line.

Each piece is shown as its technical flat — the drawing the atelier cuts from. Every one carries the (È) seal and a single ink-blue thread that escapes the enclosure.

Corpo

Makes legibleThe body at rest — held to one weight, before anything is written over it.

A boxed crew in heavyweight undyed organic jersey, cut so collar, shoulder and hem read as one closed contour. Corpo is the body text of the line: the size everything else is set against. The (È) seal is printed tonal at the left chest; a single ink-blue tack stitch escapes at the side hem.

Colonna

Makes legibleThe stance — set as two even columns running from waist to floor.

A straight, single-pleat trouser in dry wool gabardine, pressed to hold one continuous crease down the centre of each leg. Colonna sets the lower body as justified type. The (È) seal is debossed on the inner waistband; the right crease is laid in a single ink-blue thread — the pressed line that justifies the column.

Risvolto

Makes legibleThe turn from private to public — the edition of yourself you choose to show.

An unstructured notch-lapel jacket in dry-waxed cotton-wool canvas, cut clean with patch pockets and a soft shoulder. Risvolto is both the dust-jacket flap and the lapel that turns back. The (È) seal is blind-debossed under the left lapel — felt, not seen; the one blue thread is the working boutonnière keyhole.

Capolettera

Makes legibleWhere the body begins — the head set as the opening initial.

A heavy loopback hooded sweat in brushed undyed cotton, with a deep hood that frames the head the way a drop capital opens a page. Capolettera is the illuminated initial of the line. The (È) seal is woven into the inner hood seam; both drawcords are laid in ink-blue — the one line that escapes the enclosure.

Calce

Makes legibleThe footing a figure stands on — read last, carrying everything above it.

A blake-stitched derby on a single-piece leather sole, the upper cut from one panel so the profile draws as an unbroken line. In calce means “at the foot of the page.” The (È) seal is blind-embossed on the heel counter; the welt is run in a single ink-blue thread, the one even line the whole shoe stands on.

Testata

Makes legibleThe head, held level — the masthead the rest of the figure runs under.

A classic Borsalino-form fedora in felted rabbit-hair, centre-dent crown, raw-edge brim, set on a flat grosgrain band. Testata is the masthead of a page. The (È) seal is stamped blind on the inner sweatband; one marker on the band is run in ink-blue grosgrain — the level line everything below is measured from.

Cartella

Makes legibleEverything carried — gathered, squared, and sealed dry inside one rigid case.

A rigid-shell pack in welded waterproof technical canvas over a moulded frame, lid-loading with two compression catches and a flat front file pocket. Cartella is the satchel that carries the gathered work. The (È) seal is etched on the lid catch; the welded waterproof seam runs the lid line in a single ink-blue tape — sealed, and visible as one even line.

Segnatura

Makes legibleThe loose small things — gathered and ordered into a single signature.

A flat zip organizer in coated waterproof cloth that opens like a book: elastic tool loops on one leaf, card and mesh slots on the other. Segnatura is the folded gathering — and the shelf-mark that files it. The (È) seal is printed by the zip pull; the index ribbon at the spine is ink-blue, the one mark that tells you where this gathering belongs.

Construction

One palette.
One seal.
One thread.

The whole line is held to three colours and two marks, so any two pieces read as one wardrobe — the same even line, drawn through cloth, leather and felt.

One blue threadInk-blue — what escapes
A

Drawn as a flat

Every piece begins as a technical flat — the same one even line the typeface is built from. Nothing is cut until the drawing already reads on its own.

B

The (È) seal

One seal per piece, placed where it is felt more than seen: under a lapel, on a heel, inside a band. Proof that one specific mess was made legible.

C

One thread escapes

A single ink-blue thread breaks the enclosure on every piece — a tack, a crease, a cord, a welt, a seam. The accent that says the system never closes completely.

Sizes are cut to the body, not the season. Each piece is made to order in the Milano atelier and logged to The Seal Index.
